Hi Lauren! I agree with Mark and Amy, unless your horse really needs his tendons to be very maintained (because of his age, a past injury, arthritis....) I would recommend to put some polo bandages or boots not to take any risk :)
I prefer polo bandages because I can put gel sub bandages under them so it's effective on the horse limbs' and I'm sure the way I put the bandages won't injure my horse as I'm far from being a professional :)
I don't really use exercise bandages, I prefer tendon boots and fetlock-boots. First it's easier to put and take off and, for my discipline, it protects more the legs. I've seen many people putting exercise and stable bandages in the wrong way, it caused damages on the legs. So I'm rather against, unless you perfectly know how to put them.
