It's best to check the dam line better than the stallion. If the dam has many of her kin that went on to a successful sport career, then you have a good shot at having a foal with similar capabilities.
I think the best stallion for me would have to be Big Star the quality there is amazing
I personally think that the breed of the horse is not that important. I've seen a lot of half-blood horses that are amazing jumpers. The most important thing you must search for in the selection of a good horse, are their passionate about what are they doing, and of course the potential they have
As Adeline said, selle francais like Diamant de Semilly, Quidam, Baluobet du Rouet. Also German breds like Holsteins and Hannoverians are very good and talented. You should also consider Zangersheides and Dutch warmbloods with vdl bloodlines
Holsteiners are best for breeding stock. More of the top one hundred stallions are Holsteiners even though they are a tiny book
Thoroughbreds are excellent
I ride at Embassy International Riding school Bangalore, India and Capo Cosionae is the best warmblood stallion to breed with
Irish sport horses.. Or my favorite thoroughbreds
Do horses like to jump or are you making them do something they don’t like to do
VDL, Zangersheide, Oldenburger. But for me, the best Stallion is Chin Chin.
To me, the French Saddlebred is the best for jumping. Athletic bodies, for example Diamant de Semilly or Quidam are origins that I fancy a lot!
