I do a lot of review work and jump once or twice, leaving it a bit light on Thursday. Friday we trailer to the show and have a quick flat ride when we get there. In addition to that I clean tack, trim and bathe the horse, and make sure everything is packed up! :)
Probably a little ride the day before and the other days longing and riding at the beginning of the week. I have a youngster so he can't be ridden too much :)
I don't jump at all during the week before the show, as I jump every week, and the day before I don't rid him as he keeps all his energy for the show :p
A week before a show, I train once on jumping (3 or 4 days before the show), and the rest I do some flat work 2 days and trotting the third day :) the day before, I do some flat work to be sure she's concentrated on what I'm asking her :)
