I've only been to two small shows but plan to go to more next season. I practiced every night in the light of the barn while my horse ate. Pretty soon my braids looked quite acceptable . I did both shows myself . Nobody really offered it . Even if they did I don't think I would. I find it relaxing .
I braid myself. I don't have a groom. Even clipping, tacking etc.
I wouldn't have time to train someone to handle my horses the way I want to.
For hunters I braid myself (tail and mane). I've had a lot of practice over the years so I always braid myself. i also braid other people's horses. I would professionally if I had time.
I braid myself, but I am also a professional braider. So I'm not sure that counts 😊
I love to braid my horse mane, but as Mia says, you spend a long time braiding (also depends of what kind of braids you want to do). But then I'm so proud of myself, eheheh 😍
I've done braids at a show and it looks good if you do it right but it is time consuming
I am a showjumper and I braid for the money classes, special classes or classics. I braid about 7-10 of our horses per show
I have also heard of people going to shows and offering to braid for like $15
My horse has a really long mane that I refuse to cut, so I do a French braid along his neck. if we are just schooling I do a regular braids to keep it out of my hands.
