What do you think about the FEI's decision to cut the Olympic teams from 4 to 3 riders?
Wouldn't it mean more I dividual rides participating that goes for the country but not doing good the team part of the events?
I honk it is fantastic! I have competed at pony jumper finals (under the same format) three years now. I come from an area that has no pony jumpers and 2 of 3 times I had a team of three people. We had a huge disadvantage. This rule change gives smaller countries a fairer chance and levels the playing field significantly. From a rider's view who has competed under the format, it is an awesome change!
Maybe it is to reduce the number of participants and monetary spending (?)
I agree with Tessy, I don't see the interest of such a changement. Is it really to preserve horses? I don't know and why, they used to get by of those competitions...!
I don't see why they did this, they say that it was to simplify the shows, but we're loosing the reason of why we're riding and why we're doing competitions
