Starting from which age can you know if a foal is navicular?

Not too young, especially if he got poor hoof care when he was younger. Make sure to get x-rays of the front feet so they can see the navicular bone to see if there are any changes. Navicular has kind of been a catch-all phrase for years to describe any heel pain that isn't easily diagnosed. Rule out changes to the navicular bone first and then go from there :)
I think generally it presents itself around age 7-14 :)
