Can anyone help me understand how to plait my horses' tails?

Can anyone help me understand how to plait my horses' tails?
There are lots of videos online. Start at the top, taking very small prices from the back, and French braid down the tail. When you get to the base of the doc, you have a few options.
If you want to pinwheel it, continue braiding normally for a few inches, and then roll the braid on top of itself, with the excess out the sides, and stick the excess through the braid at the bottom of the doc, and secure it with a banding elastic (or 3).
You could also wrap it around a few times. In this case you would continue braiding to the bottom (normally), and then wrap all the braid around the end of the doc.
I will try! You start at the top and tie a knot (like starting your shoes) with two strands of hair. Take a third small piece and start doing a French braid down the trail taking small lives from the out side as you go down. If this doesn't make sence (it probably doesn't) I would look online for a photo/ video.
