Has anyone used Abler products to treat equine ulcers? If so, did it work? If not, what are some other ways to treat ulcers without having to get gastrogard?

I would read this article before treating for ulcers. I have a TB who was thought to have ulcers but wouldn't eat any meds. Taking him off grain and only feeding hay (high quality grass alfalfa mix) and grass whils lowering his stress levels fixed him right up. We took a fall off of showing and only worked at home.

Omephrozole ...I think that's how you spell it
I had great success with their products. I initially used the blue granules, but my horse was an expert at sifting them out of his feed. Now they have a paste form available. Just as good as ulcer-gard without breaking the bank.
I just treated my OTTB for ulcers. She's 16.1 and I would add a cup of aloe juice to her alfalfa cubes in the AM and PM. I also put her on a gut supplemnt from smartpak. Smart digest ultra pellets. It comes with colic care which never hurts to have. She's been on it about 2 weeks and she is doing much better. No more biting and kicking when I touch her stomach!
