practices haunches in & haunches out as well as shoulder ins and should fores
Ok turns on the haunches and leg yields should be really helpful for you then. Good luck! Things should get easier as his muscles build over time.
@noblebr i dont practice shoulder ins when im by myself yet bc i havent coordinated myself and developed enough impulsion w/o my trainers feedback
@noblebr he hadnt been ridden by anyone else that day and I do turn on fore turn on the haunches and leg yeilds
If he was more supple than usual, he was probably working harder than usual. He may have simply become more tired sooner than usual. Lateral work helps a lot with suppleness. Simple things like leg yeilds, and shoulder ins should be a big help.
Im a hunter-turned-dressage rider and only schooling 1st
