When your horse get hurt, how do you know if you should put a cold or a hot cream?!
If it's after training then use hot to relax the muscles so they're not sore, where as for injuries hot/cold creams vary depending on the type of injury
Yes of course I explained my self wrong, I always ask the vet, but for example after training, to cool down, legs or back...I've always used uptite or flogestine but now with so many products around...
It depends on the nature of the injury. Heat will relax the muscle. Cold will prevent swelling and increase blood flow to the area. If you are unsure you need to consult a trainer or knowledgeable professional so you don't risk worsening the injury!
