Is it necessary for high-level riders to be followed by a physiotherapist?
Hi, coming from experience I would say it definitely helps. I started to notice all of my horses were stiff to the right side so I went to a physiotherapist and it turns out I was the reason they were stiff! As soon as I started to go to them regularly my horses stopped getting stiff. It also made me feel much better in general and I rarely get sore now.
yes, it is! we develop coninuous movements that are not the same if right or left, and our horse, as a partner, develops movements to balance it. So, if you need your horse to become balanced, you need to be balanced... but you do not practice this balance exercises day by day.., if you are righ or left handed you do not keep practicing the other side. so you need the professional to keep you balanced, so the horse will be balanced too!
