My gelding gets frustrated and antsy when I try to halt him after jumps, how can I get him to relax and just stand still?

When you are halting make sure you are giving as well. As soon as he slows down/halts make sure to give with your reins- not just pulling back the whole time. Also do not halt him for too long- he is impatient and does not want to wait for awhile so work on it a little everyday. You can also try backing him a few steps and then walking forward. Work on canter to walk transitions during your flatwork and lengething and shortening his stride so you can get him listening to your aids more! Hope that helps :)
