When relaxing, do you jump higher than the event in which you are engaged? Why ?
Hi Connor,
The most of the time I jump higher than the course in which I am engaged, for the simple reason that I find that it prepares my horse better before the passage. I prefer to jump a little higher up so my horse wakes up a bit, he can gauge the height of the course that awaits him. And on arriving on the course, if it is a little less high it will be, I suppose happy. Haha :) After my horse has a tendency to leave a little dragging the hind legs when it does not want to jump, and the fact of making him jump higher in relaxation will make him raise his legs more. Like this during the course, the bars that fall barely touched are avoided !!
Bye :)
