Is this in the UK? I haven't heard anything about it
Grass disease, also called equine dysautonomia, is a mysterious and severe disorder of the central and peripheral nervous system. I know that it is not very widespread in France at the present time but in other countries, it is unfortunately not the same ... The causes of this affection are not yet determined.
There are several forms of this disease with different symptoms:
Acute form, in 48 hours, which leads to death (colic, sweating, tachycardia)
Sub-acute form, in 2 to 7 days (slimming, depression)
Chronic form, more than 7 days to several months, fatal outcome in 90% of cases. (Extreme thinness, prostrate attitude, rhinitis)
