Hi Emma! It's normal to be nervous during a show… don't panic! Hahaha. What I'm used to do is to be with my friends before I go out to the arena, warming up with them, talking about the course, or other kind of things!
During the course (here is when I'm used to get nervous) is really important to breathe, my trainer always says to me to sing while I'm running the course, because it helps you to breathe.
Maybe you can try with music than makes you feel positive or maybe having something to eat too!

I have this aromatherapy calming oil that you just rub on you and it really helps to calm you down. Now before your nerves start up take lots of deep breaths. In through your nose and hold it and then blow out. The calming oil really helps! Also just listen to some soothing music and take your deep breaths again. This has always helped me and just take a warm bubble bath the night before or in the morning before the show! Just think positive too. Picture all the things that could go right 🙂
