I just bought a ottb, and he doesn't like apples or carrots. I've tried dipping them in honey and molasses, but he never eats them. Anyone got any heathly treat ideas?

Our OTTB loves graham crackers. I would suggest putting carrots and apples in the feeder and thy adventually figure out they are yummy

My ottb was the same when I first got her, then someone told me to break up the carrot and mix it in with there meals so they'll get the taste of it. Since then shes loved them
My horse loves pears! You could try that:)
banana
My TB wouldn't eat treats. But we put them on the ground in her yard. And before we knew eat she would eat them from our hands. Now she is a pig and can't stop😂
Try carrot leaves, my OTTB loves those! Also, my horse used to hate apples (he had no interest in them whatsoever and when he tried eating them he spit it out), even though his previous owner told me his favorite treat was apple. After two years since I got him he FINALLY ate an apple and now he loves them.
Maybe if you have time you can try baking some treats! The horses at the barn love the homemade treats I prepare.
You only need fruits (apple, carrots, pears... is up to you! 😊), oats and molasses.

Hope it helps Alex!
Try pears, strawberrys or bananas 😆 My horse loves all of these 👍🏼😁
