I ride after school but I try to do homework at school or BEFORE I ride. It helps!
It really is all about time.
I'm in my second year of university, but somehow I manage to ride almost every day. Sometimes this means getting to the barn early before class or dedicating the morning/afternoon to studying and homework and leaving the evening free to ride.
My horse gets 1-2 days off a week, but I'm still at the barn to see him. I'll let him graze and bring a textbook with me to study.
My horse also takes a long time to eat after every ride, so I bring my notes/workbook, sit on the ground beside him and study while he eats.
It's all about time management. Manage your time wisely and you can do it.
Scheduling, scheduling, scheduling
I guess you need to schedule your time properly.
Maybe you should use one of the apps like "iNote" that allows you to schedule your day.
We all know we cannot do everything... so I guess you should give up on some activities such as watching tv or some hang out with friends...
Hope it helped !
I usually ride every second day since I lease my horse but I find a night where I have a big test coming up or homework I'll ride the next day
Work out a schedule so that you fit in enough time to do school work and enough time to ride
