I have a horse that naps because of separation anxiety. Sometimes I can't get her to move at all and she just turns around and goes back to her friends. Any suggestions?

I have the same problem with my gelding. I've had him two months now but all he did before was hunting, so he's used to being in a big group of horse's. Whenever I'm in the arena alone, he calls for his friends but, the worst is when a horse that is in the arena with us leaves. He throws a tantrum. He'll buck and just stop listening to me full stop. I haven't solved the problem yet but I am making lots of progress. I guess you just have to be firm (not mean) and he'll get used to having to be on his own. I don't know if this is any help but just keep persevering with her until she realises she can't do that anymore. ☺
