With bareback pads that have stirrups can you use them like stirrups like rising trot or are they just there to support you better and balance you better?

Okay thank you πŸ˜€
So yes, they are mainly there for support 😊
You can use them in that way except you can not relay on them like you could in a saddle. When rising to a trot, usually you lift with your pelvis and thighs and your lower leg is support. A tip I used is when riding with a bareback pad (especially with stirrup attachments) if you are planning to trot, I recommend becoming comfterable or at least have some practise trotting/rising without stirrups. You can not relay on them as there is less padding and the pulling down motition (when you apply pressure to stirrups) could hurts the horse she back. 😊
