Thank you @natashalyall, he has always been ridden in a Dutch Gag but was wondering about adding connectors. I will give it a try. Thanks for your input!
a Dutch gag but is one which I like to use when my horses are headstrong because it allows me to be able to ride them softer because the bit applies pole pressure which with most horses it I'll help with them being headstrong, however some horses don't like the poll pressure and it will actually make them harder to rides. Using a joiner rein on the Dutch gag can reduce the poll pressure because the joiner will allow the pressure from the rein to be spread over the two rings of the bit. I really like this bit and this is just my opinions on using it.
