I've been riding a pony for 8months and I'm going to ride a horse after all that time riding a pony. Any tips ?
I know it will be different from riding a fast pony .😊

relax, don't hang on the horses mouth. I used to ride a little speedy pony and then I moved onto a horse. Just remember that when the horse canters, etc, it may have longer strides than a pony, but, not all horses have longer strides. Also, when you jump, just keep in mind that the horse is larger and it may feel like it jumps bigger, so keep your legs from swinging back. Before you ride, just ask your trainer some questions about the horse like if it hates people to use crops on it, etc.
