I constantly have to walk Joe (Triple Threat) with all chain lead so he didn't drag to grass. Is there a was I can stop him from dragging?

Every time you feel as though he is going to go for the grass yield humble hindquarters and keep walking. Pushing over you to get to grass is also a sign of more important problems. You have to develop a respect with your horse and the best way to do that is groundwork. Establishing clear aids with your horse and being able to easily manauver him on the ground is essential to both your safety, your relationship with the horse and also your development as riding partners :)
