It is very important to cure the tendonitis seriously so it doesn't come back!
The first thing to do is to respect the protocol the vet gave you.
Generally, the horse have to be at total rest with only handwalks on a hard ground.
Then if it's improving you can start riding him gently and during very short session of walk. After you can start increasing the lenght of the ride and the intensity but always very progressively.
