Depends on the day. I ride my 14 year old bitless always, but I ride my 28 year old with a bit most days. When I start riding my 2 year old I will start her bit less.
I use a rubber D-ring snaffle! :)
I use a slow twist full cheek snaffle :)
I use bits because my trainer makes me, I don't have a horse so its not my choice
Young horses are being ridden bitless, prefer rope halter, bosal or bucket bitless bridle. When they are ready they are introduced to the bit. Usually a fulmer, french link or eggbutt eliptical snaffle for showing and dressage. For jumping, hunting and endurance we prefer short shanked english hackamores.
I use a double jointed snaffle
Hello olivia,
I use a loose rong bit for everyday practise and jumping and a doubble bridle for dressage!
I use a waterford bit :)
I do but I use a mechanical bosal for jumping
