I always use stable bandages on my show horses because it is better for the tendons and everything but for my retiered horses and colts I but tall boots, less drama to instal (for colts) and more protection for the skin and more thick (for the retiered horses) I think it depends of the horse !
I use Amigo shipping boots and they work very nicely!
I use bandages for mine as mine doesn't move that much when travelling, however if I am travelling long distances of overseas the I use travel boots/tall boots
I use the back on track quick wraps for shipping. I love them!
Hello Melinda,
I use stable bandages because my doesn't move that much during the trip. It helps the tendons recovering after the effort.
But if your horse move a lot in the trailer, i'd suggest you to use tall boots!
Hope it helps :)
