Try riding her/him with long reins using your legs to steer and your seat for pace. Arabian horses are very sensitive, any slight signal will mean something to them. There's riders who "over thinking" the riding, Arabian horses are over thinking the signal from the riders. However once they get it they become your best friend at the ride coz they honest and loyal. One suggestion is to ask experienced rider to ride him for you to fix the ridability of your horse. I can do that for you if you want free of charge.
Hope that helps
My horse is always pulling on my reins, and my hands hurt a lot. But of course, my reins are textured with leather stitching. But I'm guessing glove would help. I still got to find a pair I like. And when she/he does it, make it go in a tight circle. It helps.
