I used to have ankle pain when I rode when I got a new jumping saddle, talk to your instructor for some tips or just try to keep your ankle in position!😊
I got stirrups with a wide base to help support my ankle... not great for eq, but well worth the purchase to get back riding!
Thankyou! I defiantly will be taking it slow I'm not aloud to do any running or riding until my screws are taken out hopefully in 6 weeks ❤❤ but I will the it slowly 🐎

Before riding again, make sure that you can walk and run a bit. Maybe two or three weeks before rifing again, start walking progressively and then running again to gain back some muscle.
When you'll be riding, don't put too muche weight on your ankle during the first sessions. Don't forget to do some warm up exercises before and some stretching after.
Be patient and do it step by step, it would be so bad to harm your ankle again.
