How do you take care of a young horse's feet?

Hello Daryl,

If the horse doesn't have a specific problem, it has to be handled like normal and adult hooves.

Generally, the foal first sees the farrier aged 8 weeks for his first trimming.
The first shoeing has to be the latest possible to let the hoof grow as naturally as possible.

Then, to choose the hoof oil you need to determine the nature of your horse's hooves.

Hope this helps :)
