Do you have tips for beginning jumpers?

Do you have tips for beginning jumpers?
i know jumping is just so much fun but don't over do it. Remember you still need to keep up the flatwork! ☺️
Get someone experienced to help you!!!! It doesn't take long for bad habits to form in both the rider and the horse (even with baby jumps). Lots of things can go wrong if you don't know what you're doing
never lean forwards
Get an instructor and have fun!
I suppose my main tip would be to always think slow. Just wait for the horse to jump, instead of trying to jump if for him. And have fun! It's difficult but rewarding
