Ask @adamprudent : How do you explain the difference in terms of general pricing between the equestrian trading industry in Europe and the one in North America?

Hello Stanley,

In fact, there are several reasons the differing prices between horses in Europe and imported ones. A horse is often sold in America for a higher price because of all the work the seller did until this point. Horses are coming from Europe because it's where the sport began and where all the good breeding operations are. So you have transport fees boarding/training expenses that augment the final cost. The price needs to cover all these expenses! But the client also pays for the expertise of the seller. Finding a horse with great quality is hard. It requires alot of time, travel and knowledge to find the perfect one to send in America.
