Any experience with CWD saddles? I know a lot of riders who recommend them (plus I think they are beautiful) but I would just like to hear what more riders have to say?

They are really nice saddles but you can get saddles just as good that aren't so overpriced
Mine is super comfy (I've just outgrown it). The leather is very nice but it's incredibly supple so it's important to condition it often & clean it after every use! I have the 2G which is great because the flap doesn't pop up like most dual flaps (not really sure the best way to describe that).
Hey Toosje,

I don't have a CWD but my trainer does and I've ridden in/borrowed hers many times. I think they are quite nice and very comfortable. They are definitely one of the top saddle brands out there. Personally, I have a Devoucoux and absolutely love it!! They are just as comfortable, look gorgeous, and there are endless customization options (I've even seen people change the color of piping on them)!
Hope this helps :)
I love my CWD!! I have no problems with it. My saddle has a wide tree so it fits the many different horses I ride. I can go from a pony to a horse with no back problems. Mine also is a deep seat so when my jumper throughs me up out of the saddle I feel more secure:)
I don't have one, but have ridden in them and I love them. But they do have some flaws: the pommel of the saddle is way to high up and pinches the horses withers at the side. Some of them are also over padded which prevents the rider from having close contact which I like.
CWD saddles are very comfortable, I really love them. They help your balance and your position. The only problem in my opinion is that they are really too heavy to be made of carbon. I own an equipe saddle, and when I tried my friend's CWD saddle I felt a big difference on my horse... She was really tired
