Between 0 and 1... sugar rots their teeth, just like people! And they can't even brush afterward!

Most horses are feed and glucose based on a per-hundred pound system. Ideally, a healthy weight horse in an average work out can healthily consume about 3 tablespoons of sugar before one it can have an effect; assuming the horse weighs 900 lbs. Essentially, it breaks down to about 1 tablespoon of raw sugars per every 300 lbs. Hope that helps!
