Is it bad to not have pads underneath polo wraps? I want to get some polo wraps but I'm not sure whether I should get pads or not.

In the summer I just use combi bandages alone but in the winter when my boys legs are all clipped and it’s cold I use pads underneath too!
Under polo wraps, if they’re fleece I wouldn’t however, bandages I would
I prefer using pads to avoid risk of overtightening and pressure points
My horse needs tur extra protection from the wraps, so i always use them
I like the pads better but I don't use them everyday or ride in them I only put them on sometimes for long floating periods or in a yard
i don't think you really need pads but if your horse doesn't like sand getting underneath boots or polo wraps i would probably have a look at buying some
Thank you! @fancy.affair
Thanks! @sydneymac
I use pads only because I have them and they provide extra support if you are doing pole grids :)
I do not use pads under by wraps for everyday use( flatting/ jumping) , but I use them for shipping my horse to protect her from hurting her self.
Thank you! @horseslife1
I don't use pads under mine
