Arabians are some of my all time favorites. They have such big hearts and they have a fire that I love. I breed and train specifically the classic crabbet/Kellogg/polish lines and just recently bred my mare to a half Spanish Arabian Stallion out of Bugatti. Have a big appreciation for the classic breeding because those horses were bred to be beautiful but also very strong and confident with amazing personalities. Favorite stud lines would have to be Khemosabi, Bugatti, and Raffles but there are so many awesome ones out there.
i love arabians, but will pass on most of the flashy "main ring" and halter horses. they're not bred to be smart or healthy horses, they're bred to be "living art"...... not very practical imo. there are plenty of nice sporthorses and crosses out there. training-wise, you've just gotta know what you're doing, be patient, and be two steps ahead of them, or they'll be two steps ahead of you.
Love them! I used to ride two years ago! Arabians are beautiful! But now I prefer taller horses.
Love them, I've leased 2.
I used to lease an Arabian and I lived her to death but I don't necessarily love the breeds physical characteristics and conformation.
Love Arabs. They can be a bit feisty but you have to love their willingness to please.
