Does anyone have any tips for keeping your leg still and down when jumping?

Let your horse come up to you, and try to visualise your ankles/foot staying on the girth :)
Try reminding yourself not to throw your body over the fence and let your horse jump to you
No stirrups works. Another option might be to put your stirrup leathers up a hole or two, it might allow closer contact to your horse
I love no stirrups but not many ppl do πŸ˜‚
Hey Caitlin!! I know no stirrups are such a pain, but when you do the no stirrups, don't just let your leg hang down, pick your leg up about 3 or 4 inches to where your stirrup would be and do two point, extended and collected sitting trot and posting trot, Kerin will sometimes have us counter canter and counter bend which makes you 101% use leg, and take your stirrups OFF your saddle and leave and or put them in the barn so you don't have a tendency to grab them, and jump it'll also help! -Gabbi πŸ˜‚πŸ’•
