I want to try giving my horse coconut oil with his grain. Before I do I want to know what are some more benefits to it? Also... does anyone use it and if so what was your reaction

You can feed it in small amounts and work up to 1/8 cup twice daily. You can also directly apply it to mane, tail, and hooves, or even small cuts.
I don't feed it(😬) but I put it on their hooves and in the mane and tail and it works wonders!
Thank you so much!! I am definitely considering it now!
Hello Madison,
It makes the coat, mane and tail more shinny and healthy, but it also improves stomach health. Coconut oil contains medium chain triglycerides (MCT) that are easier to digest, absorb and convert to energy than the traditionally used vegetable oils. It's particularly helpful for horses on a grain-based feed.
