My friend is 13 and is looking at a TWH that is 6 for gaming. But she has only riding about a year and I know this breed can be hotheaed. Would this be a bad horse for her?

I would NOT recommend it. The gaits are tricky for a beginner rider. And they can be too much "horse" for her.
TWH are great horses once they're trained. I have rode many hot headed horses and I would say TWH aren't hotheaded just a little opinionated. But if she is more of a beginner a older horse would do her some good for her.
not necessarily, but if she hasent ridden much, maybe take it down a notch, if you get the horse, maybe have a trainer work with both of them, and if you dont, maybe get a calmer horse that she can work with.

Well TWH can be very hot headed and spooky. If she doesn't have a whole lot of experience with horses I definitely wouldn't recommend it. I also would recommend them for a first horse. We have one at our barn and she jumps out of her skin at nothing. Also sometimes TWH being gated can have a hard time with the tight turns required for gaming.
