So my horse has a summer sore and I've been washing it twice a day. He's also in a stall at the moment. Is there anything else I should be doing or can do?

Give your horse some sort of a dewormer. This will help kill the larva inside of the wound. Keep the sore dry and make sure the flies don't get to it. I sometimes will wrap the area. If the sore doesn't heal and only seems to be getting bigger, you should call your vet.
