When you canter are you leaning forward off your horses back? If so try bringing your shoulders back and sitting deeper into the saddle, practice this for a bit then try bareback. Also with jumping in your saddle try go over some small jumps in a half seat so your still kind of sitting in the saddle then take it off and try bareback.
Maybe use a neck strap? Also make sure your horse is confidential in you and you in him, try in a smaller area so you both get the feel of each other in the canter and and then built up to bigger areas. Also take you time, it will pay off in the long run
Just keep riding bareback. Riding has zero quick fixes except repeat and be brave doing it.
Practise makes perfect. Try riding bareback a bit more often and really focus on your seat. When your riding with the saddle try to do lots of sitting trot. If you have an instructor to help you, ask them if they can focus more on balance. Definitely make sure you are comfortable walk trot canter before you start jumping.
Do you post without stirops? Cause it took me a while to learn how to use my upper leg muscle and how to strengthen them. For me trot was the hardest. With the canter you need to sit deep as in a Dressage saddle. But Jumping is a whole other concept
