^^ that is a pretty basic recipe. You can crush peppermints and add them in, chop carrots/apples or really anything! Adjust it and make it perfect for you.

I make horse treats that are healthy, vegan and taste delicious to my three guys. Here are some of my favorites!
1: Apple Oat bites
Add 1 cup oats, 1/2 cup flour and 1/4 cup sugar to a bowl and whisk to combine. Then add in two tablespoons of maple syrup. This is a natural sweetener and gives a almost molasses like flavor horses love. Then add in 2 tablespoons oil and thoroughly cut it into the dough. Finally, instead of an egg, use 3-4 tablespoons apple sauce. This adds flavor and is MUCH healthier. This should give you a "dough like" consistency. Adjust the amount of apple sauce to get the perfect dough. Roll into small balls and press flat to make small, quarter bite size treats and back at 375*F until golden brown on the bottom and not too soft.
