Anyone know how to get a horse to stop biting?

Anyone know how to get a horse to stop biting?
If he tries to bite thump his chin with your fist he won't see it coming and he won't know you did it so he won't be head shy all he will know is he acted aggressive and felt pain
I've stopped feeding mine treats, I know he's young and teething is normal but he was getting quite nibbly. So I use a lick as a treat instead and if he tries to nip or nibble I flick his nose or upper lip. It doesn't hurt him but it's annoying enough to stop him 😂
If he gets hand fed, stop doing that. And whenever he tries to bite, flick his nose, or smack his neck. You just have to be careful not to make him headshy, so after you flick or smack him. Pet him to reinforce the stoppage of the biting
