I've had to stop riding due to financial problems for more than two years and now I'm getting back into lessons but I feel like I'm too old to be where I am in lessons. Do you have any advice?

Show your trainer that you can improve! Don't be tough on your self or else you'll get to stressed and it'll effect your riding. Plus!- you're never to old to ride in your place! Peopel improve at different times!
You're never to old! I've had to step away and I'm back at 48. Just keep going. Age really isn't a factor as long as you stay in your stay in physical shape!
@mollyfourier you are NEVER to old to learn anything! The saying 'you can't teach an old dog, new tricks' is incredibly old fashioned. Take pride in the fact that you are brave enough to start again. Good luck and enjoy your time in the saddle!
