Do you have any simple exercises to help a cob lifts his feet properly instead of dragging them on the ground and over poles ?

When you are approaching a pole try patring the horses neck or tap him bum with your whip to alert him
Try Gridwork jumping, it reminds them where their feet are. :)
maybe trotting him over cavaletties will help pick his feet up
My tip is to make him lift his body correcrly, and then will he problanly stop draging em':)
@wwbonnette I haven't jumped him since last year but then again it was more just a raised pole as I'm scared to jump after almost breaking my hip bone doing show jumping so even if I did do jumps with him it would be probably under 50cm
Keep doing poles and maybe he'll lighten up. Sometimes it's hard and if he constantly does it after you've tried a lotaybe you shouldn't be jumping him as high
