I would make sure to keep your hips back but also try to stay in your two point/ jump position. What my instructor had me do when I was getting left behind was go in two point leading up to the jump and stay there until a stride after I landed the jump
I'll try out a beast collar on him @maddiemacnutt
Breast collar?
He has a tendency to jump too high on certain jumps. I have strong legs tho. I'll try riding at least 10 mins with and without stirrups everytime I ride @rileyv_
With and without stirrups*
It's most likely NOT because of your horse jumping. The height shouldn't matter at all. What's wrong is probably your position and the fact that you need a stronger leg. I suggest doing no stirrup EVERYTIME you ride, 10 minutes of it at least. And then practice your two-point at a walk and trot, with and with out
Causing me to lose my balance and falling off
