Dear Melinda,

Yes there some interindividual susceptibility which may be responsible for “after effects”, like flare. Every medicine can induce flare.
Our experience, is that flare occurrence is highly dependent on the history of treatment of the horse, especially with other biologicals.
In total transparency with you, less than 0,5% of treated horses experienced some kind of inflammation post injection, and very rare proper flares. In all situations, horses had a good evolution and their sport carreer went on smoothly
But yes, you have to keep that in mind; none medicine can be insurred 0% side effects.
