Ask @vetbiobankequine : If you extract cells from foals to re-inject them in other adult horses, what are the eventual genetical constraints that you have ?

Dear Philippa,
Vetbiobank is a biotech lab specialized in developping and producing stem cells from umbilical cord. Those cells are therefore neonatal cells and are not coming from foals themselves. Consequently cells are young and compatibility of donnor stem cells with recipient is high. There is no known genetical constraints.

Does this answers your question correctly ?
