Alright, thank you!! It doesn't seem to effect him but he is really clumsy in the canter and over poles (I don't jump him over 50cm due to it)
my mare does that too. it's due to confo and you can't change that a lot. you can ask your farrier if he can change the hoof angle in an attempt to make the movement of the front legs more normal but it will never be perfect and your risk making the horse lame
It's most likely down to his confirmation, so there isn't a whole lot you can change. Having him moving forward up into a frame will help most with his movement. If this doesn't fix it, then if you're really invested in the issue, you could look into having a horse chiropractor or massage therapist look at him
