Matters what you are doing
I believe it depends on the horse but I am more comfortable with a bit sense a tongue is more giving then a nasal passage
Depends on the horse, but I always ride with a bit.
bit all the way. the soft tissue (tongue) can accept pressure better than hard tissue (bone of the face). plus the face has many more nerves and if incorrectly placed it will damage the cartilage of the face. this has all been proven by unbiased vets.
All depends on what makes the horse happier
I think what ever the horse responds to better weather it mouth or nose pressure! 😄
Hi Breanna, I prefer to ride with a bit to have more control on my horse !
