What is the best way to treat heel/spur rubs ? I ride a very lazy horse that needs a whip and spurs but he gets rubs easily.

Courstarch works and to not have it again you could use a long saddle pad 😁
you can prevent the rubs from occuring with an equifit belly band or spur pad and treat the rubs with corona!!
A horse a the my barn used an extra long saddle pad for about a month and soon his sides grew back hair:) good luck!
I use an Equifit Belly Band! It is a little pricey but you can find knock off versions that work just the same! I had a very sensitive horse that would get rubs from my spur and it worked perfectly!
