This year I was going to buy my dream horse. A P.R.E. And now an Expert tells me I shouldn't buy a P.R.E Because of It's temper And I'm so sad Because this is my dream horse. Do you agree with him ?

If you can handle it
It shouldn't be just about the temper, but about the connection you have with the horse. Horses react differently per person.
Just keep in mind that just because it is your dream horse (in theory I pressume) it doesn't mean it will be your dream horse in real life. Before you buy the horse test drive and get to know him. There might not be a great of a connection as you hope there would be.
I have one P.R.E. for the last 15 years. He was a stallion for 9 of them. I am a retired competitor so now a casual non competing equestrian. My PRE is the Best horse , well rounded, does anything from dressage to cow work to bare back trail ride in a halter. Fabulous creature. Came from Spain. You could not pry his reins from my dead cold hands. Love love love him. I have a Spanish Norman (cause can't afford a PRE any more) and he is beyond fab too! Temperament- huh? Best temperament of any of horses I have had in the last 47 years.
Thank you. Do you have a IG where I can talk to you for a bit? I have some questions
dont listen to them. horses react differently to different people & not every pre has the same temper. my mare is perfect for me but nobody else can rid her, she will do anything to get them off her.
